Touching the eternal by capturing the moment

I photograph primarily Fine Art, Portraits and Head Shots.

Seldom am I satisfied merely to record another "pleasant likeness."
I want my work to do much more than that.

I believe the best person-photographs start with a subject's honest inner actions,
moments which are elicited, and then realized photographically, by my long experience
as a motion picture and theater director and by my originality as a visual artist.

In my view, if our work fails to reveal some kind of truth,
it cannot be art -- and so may not be worth doing.

That being said, for me every creative and collaborative shoot will always have an intrinsic and enduring value; it can be wonderfully fulfilling -- and simply a treasure.

I am based in Tarzana, California; my rates are appropriate,
and I will consider TFCD shoots with exceptional talent.
